Vaultify is an AI-powered personal fintech app designed to help users build better financial habits through smart saving and personalized investment options. The app empowers individuals to set financial goals, automate their savings, and access tailored investment opportunities based on their spending patterns and financial behavior. By using AI, Vaultify delivers real time insights and recommendations, making it easier for users to manage money, stay disciplined, and grow their wealth over time.
Problem Statement
Many individuals struggle to build consistent saving habits or make informed investment decisions due to a lack of financial discipline, limited access to personalized guidance, and overwhelming financial tools. Traditional apps often provide generic solutions that don't adapt to users unique behaviors or goals. There is a need for a smarter, more intuitive system that not only simplifies saving and investing but also provides tailored insights to help users stay on track and grow their finances confidently.
Challenge
Creating Vaultify wasn’t just about building another fintech app. It was about making personal finance feel less intimidating and more approachable. One of the first challenges was figuring out how to present financial features like savings goals, investments, and AI recommendations in a way that felt simple and relatable, even for users who aren’t financially savvy.
Process
The journey started with understanding people’s real struggles with saving and managing money. I spoke with a mix of users from young professionals trying to build an emergency fund to freelancers with irregular income. The goal was to uncover what they found frustrating about existing finance apps and what they actually needed help with.
Research and Discovery
The project kicked off with user interviews and competitor analysis to understand how people currently save and invest. I spoke with different types of users including salary earners, freelancers, and small business owners to learn what challenges they face when trying to manage their money.
Defining User Needs
After gathering insights, I mapped out the key pain points and opportunities. Users needed simplicity, guidance, and motivation. Many wanted an app that could help them stay consistent with savings and offer investment options without being overwhelming.
Ideation and Flow Design
Using the research insights, I designed initial user flows focusing on key actions like setting a saving goal, tracking progress, and receiving personalized insights from the AI. I aimed to keep interactions minimal and intuitive.
Wireframing and Prototyping
I created low fidelity wireframes to structure the experience and ran quick usability tests to validate direction. Based on feedback, I iterated on screen layouts and navigation patterns before moving to high fidelity mockups in Figma.
User Testing and Iteration
I shared the interactive prototype with a small group of users. Their feedback helped refine how AI suggestions were introduced and how financial progress was displayed. The focus was on making everything feel helpful, not overwhelming.
Visual Design and UI Polish
Once the structure felt solid, I moved into final UI design. I chose a clean and calming visual style to build trust and clarity. The app’s look and feel was designed to support ease of use and make financial management feel less stressful.

To make the experience even more personal, Vaultify uses AI to analyze spending habits and recommend saving strategies that fit each user’s lifestyle. Instead of generic tips, users get tailored nudges, reminders, and financial insights that help them stay on track without feeling overwhelmed.
Every part of the app was designed to reduce friction and build trust, from onboarding and goal-setting to tracking progress and receiving smart suggestions. Users are always in control, with the AI acting more like a supportive guide than a decision-maker.
The result is an experience that feels effortless, helpful, and human. Vaultify doesn’t just help users manage their money. It helps them build better habits and feel more confident about their financial future.
Results
Vaultify was well received by users during testing. Many appreciated how easy it was to set goals and track their savings without feeling overwhelmed. The AI-driven suggestions felt personal and timely, helping users stay motivated and consistent.
